Tasman Motorsport is opening its doors to the public for the very first time at its race headquarters in Preston. This impressive open day will be held on Saturday and Sunday the 4th and 5th of August 2007.
This is an amazing opportunity, not just for V8 Supercar fans but for all fans of motorsport, giving the chance for lovers of racing cars to take a tour of the Tasman Motorsport facility where the cars are prepared, speak with team members and witness the team take part in pit stop practice.
But that’s not all.
Ever wanted to have a go on one of the most comprehensive and lifelike racing simulators? Well this is your chance. Give it a go … this is the simulator the professionals use.
But that’s still not all.
What could be better than meeting the two Tasman Motorsport drivers, Jason Richards and Greg Murphy?
Yes, they will be there too. Signing autographs, answering questions and posing for photos. And … oh … check out their cars … damn fine pieces of machinery that they are. Their VE Commodores will be there too.
No … the cars will not be signing autographs, but they will be posing for photos.
Other displays include the Fujitsu development series cars, a Formula 4000 open wheeler, sponsor displays and merchandise, including discounted 2006 merchandise.
